A hidden gem found right in Holly Springs, NC, Bass Lake Park has something for everyone! You can enjoy over 2 miles of walking trails, a secluded picnic shelter, and a North Carolina Environmental Friendly Education Center. 

The lake boasts over 54 acres and allows visitors to rent canoes, Jon boats, and Gheenoe boats. Did you forget your poles for fishing? No problem! The facility also includes a free Tackle Loaner Program for those that forgot their gear at home!

Sugg Farm is part of the property and offers over 117 acres for special events. This includes an archery field, an RC field, and a dog park for your furry family members. 

Annual events include an independence day Celebration around the 4th of July featuring rides, food trucks, games, and a firework show after sunset! At the end of October, Bass Lake Park hosts what is now known as "Hollyfest," a traditional fall festival for the whole family to enjoy; you won't miss this annual crowd-pleasing event so mark your calendars!

Carolina Brewing Company

Parrish Womble Park

Best For: Sports Enthusiasts

Hours: Monday- Friday, 5 am- 9 pm; Saturday, 8 am- 4 pm, Sunday 1 pm- 6 pm

Location: 1201 Grigsby Avenue, Holly Springs, NC, 27540

Ages: All Ages

Located in the heart of Holly Springs, Womble park features 46 acres with various recreational offerings. Enjoy the greenway trails, tennis courts, and playground facilities on your next day off! This family-friendly park is a staple in Holly Springs regarding all things Rec Sports. 

Highlighting the Park is a multi-sport synthetic turf field and four lighted baseball or softball fields. Have a special event? They have an outdoor stage to accommodate any occasion! Some more unique features include a horseshoe pit, sand volleyball courts, a Gaga ball pit, and a concession stand with picnic tables.

Daniel Dhers Action Sports Complex

Best For: Sports Fans!

Hours: Wednesday-Friday, 4 pm- 8 pm; Saturday and Sunday, 12 pm- 6:30 pm

Location: 171 Tradition Trail, Suite 301, Holly Springs, NC, 27540

Ages: Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult

This has got to be one of Holly Springs's most exciting additions. Founded, owned, and operated by Olympic Gold medalists Daniel Dhers and Abel Zalcberg, they brought their idea to life in 2013. 

Offering a variety of activities and reasons to visit, this sports complex is geared toward BMX, scooters, and skating. They offer times to utilize their unique space for birthday parties and have day camps for children who want to spend their days off from school on the ramps. 

If you want lessons, this is the place to go! The instructors are experienced and trained to teach both children and adults safe practices while visiting the sports complex. 

For riders under the age of 18, safety equipment is required. Safety equipment is highly recommended for riders over 18; however, not required.

Please keep in mind that all participants must sign a waiver. If your rider is under 18, the release must be completed by a parent or legal guardian. Please check out their website to review the disclaimer before you head to the park.
