Townhomes for Sale in Mebane, NC

Builder prices below were posted in late September 2026 and change often.

• North First Street Townes by DRB Homes, on Hammond Drive about 1.5 miles from downtown, with three-bedroom homes from about $250,000 to $276,000.
• Oakwood Townes, the townhome section of Oakwood by Meritage Homes, on Stream View Court with available homes from about $257,000 to $314,000 and a one-car garage.
• Heritage Downs by Starlight Homes, on Dandelion Court and Summer Wheat Lane near I-40/85 Exit 154, with 1,515-square-foot plans listed from about $250,000 to $290,000.
• Mebane Towne Center by Keystone Homes, at South Fifth Street and Mebane Airport Road, from about $336,000. Some plans put the primary bedroom on the main level, and garages hold one or two cars.

For resale, The Village at Lake Michael on Village Lake Drive has townhomes built around 2016, recently listed near $365,000.

• Mebane Towne Center: about $164 a month for landscaping, exterior upkeep, roof maintenance, and a community pool and clubhouse.
• The Village at Lake Michael: about $190-$198 per month in recent listings, with a pool, clubhouse, and workout room.
• Oakwood Townes: about $140 a month, listed for stormwater maintenance, a pool, a cabana, and landscaping.
• Heritage Downs: $119 a month, with trash as the only listed item.

When the HOA does not cover the roof or siding, those repairs fall on you, so a lower fee can mean a larger bill later. Heritage Downs is also on the Orange County side of Mebane, which carries a higher property tax rate than most Alamance County addresses.

Many new Mebane townhomes come with a one-car garage and one driveway space. I ask the HOA where a second car and guests can park before we tour, because some communities limit street parking.
