Homes With a Pool for Sale in Burlington, NC

Nearly every home in this Burlington pool homes search has a neighborhood pool rather than a backyard pool. Of the 23 listings in late September 2026, all but a handful were in Mackintosh on the Lake, Weybridge, or Crowfield. The average list price was about $448,700. If you want a private pool in Burlington, the search gets much smaller.

Raleigh Realty won INDY Week's Best Real Estate Company vote in Wake County in 2023, 2024, and 2025. We sort out for Alamance County buyers which listings have their own pool and which pay for pool access through HOA dues.

Which Burlington Neighborhoods Have a Community Pool?

  • Mackintosh on the Lake: A junior Olympic pool, a family pool, and a splash park, plus a 7,600-square-foot clubhouse with a fitness center. Some homes pay two associations. A recent Kenross Drive listing showed $130 a month to its section association plus $255 a quarter to the master association.
  • Weybridge: Newer townhomes and single-family homes on Talisker Way and Dunvegan Lane, with new construction starting at about $330,000.
  • Crowfield: Older townhomes off Huntington Road with a community pool, and the lowest price point in this search.

What Should You Check on a Home With a Private Pool?

Private pools in Burlington show up on scattered lots, from a $950,000 home on 3.4 acres off Altamahaw Union Ridge Road to a fixer on Buckingham Road with a 13-by-30 in-ground pool that needs work. Before the due diligence period ends, cover these points.

  • A pool inspection, separate from the home inspection, covering the shell or liner, pump, filter, and heater
  • The pool and fence permits on file with the City of Burlington, or with Alamance County if the home is outside city limits
  • A homeowners insurance quote that includes the pool, since some carriers require a fence or higher liability coverage

Is the Pool in the Backyard or Down the Street?

For any Burlington listing tagged with a pool, I check the photos and the HOA amenity list before we book a showing, so you know what kind you are getting. For a private pool, I also ask the seller for the age of the pump and liner.
